Phew, allmost complete success.

Discs are on, exhaust is changed, Eliseparts sent an S1 Exige lambda sensor so thats not on and my stage 2 is gubbed, apart from that things went pretty well.

Major thanks to Dom, JJ and Philthy, half pint shandies all round next time we're at the bar.

Question for the techies, will I be ok running it with the MIL light on at Donny till I get another sensor?

Seemed to go well including a bit of brake-bleeding action from Dom at the last minute.

Glad to be of help anyway. :D

Shame on Lotus for the sh*t of the stage 2 exhaust though, no wonder it was popping and banging seeing as the insides had come loose!

Interesting coincidence . . . when I was on the phone to Jim 2bular tonight about his exhausts, he explained to me that there were problems with the stuff used inside the stage 2 and told me about the durability of the stuff he's using.

Read the info at the bottom of this page: http://www.2bular.com/news.htm Not sure if this is what has happened to yours Kenny, but if you're thinking of a new one, then it sounds like this won't happen with the 2bular. :thumbsup

Glad you got most of your stuff sorted, even if the MIL is still on!

Wrong, but at least when it does, Jim is very helpful and its sorted quickly as I found out.

Might just bung the Stage 2 back on until I make up my mind and have the cash to get what I want from Jim.

I'm just glad your car still works after letting me loose on it with a drill and then an angle grinder! Most valuable car to date that I have angle grinded

Should be easier next time, now we know what we are doing
