Must be very tempting for you to go the whole hog, funds allowing.
You will not see much of an increase in performance from the Honda engine, as your VHPD is probably pushing out the same as Craigs was, 199, and Cammys 198, and I only just had the edge on him. However an extra 80hp from the S/C will make a big difference.
We also need someone to give Craig a run for his money, as as far as I know, he has the only one in Scotland.
In fact that is exactly what I said in my other thread before I knew that you were converting.

340R questions
Scotty,
Sounds like you will very soon be able to boast a true 340R!!
Actually, if your SC produces 280 bhp (my estimation from Tut's wafflings above!), then you will actually have a 405R sans driver (isn't that an old Peugeot?), or a 350R fully laden with your good self at the helm.
Can't be bad either way

There's a massive difference in performance between a VHPD and a N/A Honda. Having driven both back to back.tut wrote:You will not see much of an increase in performance from the Honda engine, as your VHPD is probably pushing out the same as Craigs was, 199
S/C Conversions are putting out a reliable 300 bhp.
