I've already told him to get a touran but he won't listen...

....
Seriously though Gareth If you are wanting a CRV, neighbour's selling hers....don't know if it's dzl or petrol but i think it's pretty reasonable spec...grey leather if I remember rightly..silver...
don't know any more details but it's not a high mile rep mobile or anything.
let me know if you are interested.
We would be looking at it but MPV's are the new 4x4

& touran's rock....
oh dear....

but Ryann's brother is on his 2nd one now - for the wife of course - and they love them lots!! They've never had any probs with them and keep trying to convince me to get one too.....
My B-I-L has one, raves about it, I got a shot when he got it at first & it seems to drive OK - nice gearshift IIRC
Oh, and phallic handbrake....

So instead we are going to buy a softroader as they are so much cooler then a people carrier
If you want something interesting and big go buy a 110 or an estate car

I was about to compliment you on finally saying something sensible and then you go and spoil it by saying an A4 avant is not that big......
You're not actually suggesting that an A4 avant is too small for a family with one small child are you????
My folks managed with a metro for a couple of years at there was me, my brother and sister to contend with!!
Parents these days.... don't know they're born...

My current Mundano Estate is actually pretty good fun.
Lfb tends to curb any understeer.
Mind you, hire cars are always faster than normal...

My thoughts too
My (admittedly one size up) estate is plenty big to deal with wife, two kids, a dog, and all the associated shoite that is attached....
Gareth, even though the bairn wants it, you don't really need to take the garden chute everywhere with you
