Well...

Seems ok, and the Co is very well organized (Well better than a certain Ministry anyway!) ppl are friendly and helpful but there are a fair number of dodgy practices going on! You only get 10 secs between calls if it's busy!

Still in Trg for the next 3 weeks, but I'll be let out then and will be allowed to talk to Joe Public!

I am going to be customer support for "Carphone Warehouse" only, and no I can't get you a decent deal or check your account details! (You'll have to phone up as big brother is always watching!) But I will be able to point you in the right direction of a few lesser know ones though with a bit of luck.

Oh and from what I have seen so far the public are all stupid and can't read or understand that within 28 days means

Off to a Beer Bust probably tomorrow, Whole centre (~1500pax) is out at a hired venue and 4 drinks free each every month, not bad really!

I'm entitled to it so why not? I don't see any problem claiming at all. After all I've paid my taxes for years and some other bugger has been claiming it instead.

Karma got me in the end eh?!

Impressions after 3 weeks:

Word to the wise, please never ever get a contract with a redemption offer on it where you have to send off the bills. Please. Its a bollocks system and full of catches. Also if it doesn't work first time you'll be chasing your money for months or years.

If you are thick, stupid, gullible or otherwise unsuitable to have an upgrade carried out just phone through and the chimps on Loyalty (AKA Disconnections) will gladly feck up the forms and sell you any old guff they can find that looks vaguely like a phone and a contract lasting forever you can't get out of....

Also if you feel angry and need to shout at someone about your phone problems you can shout at me as obviously, shouting at the person trying to be helpful and who probably has the power to fix your problems will really help. Oh and did I mention that I can also feck you contract up forever and ever and ever? My last day there (if I live that long) will be fun. Fancy a £75 per month contract for 18months and a total call bar with a side order of blacklisted handset?
/rant
Other than that the days go really quick.

What I can do for you (Yes you!) I can now get 40% off anything in Carphonewhore house stores that you pay upfront for (ie not contracts) but that means Pay as you go phones and accessories etc. If anyone needs anything then drop me a pm ;)

Sane ish.... sane as ever

If your due a change do the research yourself, pick the best deal you can find anywhere then go into a Carphone store, they have to try and match it (Price match promise on new contracts). Don't go onto T-mobile ever (Used to be one to no-one for good reason) don't get a redemption unless its automatic and haggle haggle haggle, especially if you are upgrading.

They wet their pants with excitement if you walk in and ask for an upgrade, then sh!t themselves when they realise they have to do some work and have to match what you are demanding. (So stand back a bit!)

Nokia N73 looks v.good and the latest Sony Ericssons jobs look the biz, but avoid touch screens as they are too small for stubby fingers and you need to use the little wand thing which is a PITA.

You can upgrade form the 10th month but your next contract will be that bit longer. You cannot get out of an upgrade contract. Period. Full stop. ever. there is no cooling off or change of mind and I don't care if your a lawyer or your husband works in a court, it makes no difference.

Best deal ATM are on O2 by the looks of things, especially the larger contracts even better on 18 months but I would never go for an 18 month jobbie as I want a new phone every year!

I may also know a few tricks I am unable to share though.....
