Dezzy,
The Grims are playing King Tut's again this year, 2 nights I think. Couple of band member changes a few months ago, no Liam anymore. Been waiting months for the second album to be released.

Ken,

In 1978, I was minus three!! I'm only 23 now!!

(He'd have been amazing live, the live albums are excellent. Have you got the BBC sessions? It's superb)

I've got a Whistle Test DVD with Rory doing Hands Off. Quality performance - it's one of the songs on the BBC sessions CD.

It's worth a listen - starts reasonably subdued (by Rory's standards) and builds to the full blues blast.

I've got a Pallas album somewhere. Saw them quite a few times live, but that was back in the 80s when Euan (I think) was the front man, and a few times after he left. I moved down to London in 88 for a few years, so never saw them again afterwards but I believe they do still play events from time to time.
