Nice one Ian, taken you a while but looks like you found a good 'un.

Anyways. The car's the star. Great barn find and assuming you got it for £12k tops, it's not going to be a poor choice even with £2k of refresh thrown at it.

You must do a "build thread" though. This will help prove (or refute) the theory that a low mileage unmolested but underused S1 is a bigger risk than a leggy but frequently maintained one.

Having done both it depends on how well maintained the miler is. In the long run the low milage unmolested car wins due to higher resale value.
