Clachtoll Cottage looks like it's about here:

This shot:

shows Clachtoll Bay behind the cottage.

No idea where the other one is.

Ah right, sorry for confusion Lawrence.

The one you've posted images for belongs to a teacher at Ellon Academy, whom we met also on that same campaganza. He invited a few of us to litter his lawn / driveway with fancy exotica vehicles and photographed us liberally to show his friends, I imagine :-)

Both cottages are within sight of each other, I think. The one I referenced had that "nice rosy glow" in the windows at dusk. Very appealling.

Lawrence, the cottages are at opposite ends of the beach. The first one Tighnacraig, is on the left at the bottom of the hill on the way into Clachtoll and sits higher up. The other one is nearer sea level and is accessed via the beach car park and road.

Lawrence

Did you get the cottage booked? I am off week of the 13th Nov (no im not going to Oulton) and am thinking of heading west for a few days with Jaci and the dogs.

I am sure someone posted a link to a campsite that was going to be used on one of the trips, it had a self catering bothy for hire. I have looked back some of the old campaganza links but can not see it. Does anyone know furry boots it was? Or even better have a link.

Thanks

Scotty C
