Entire boot carpeting and insulation comes easily enough to dry off :-)

Craig sorted a boot alignment thing for me just after purchase, may be an easy fix for you too.

So the 410 is a full 10 seconds a lap quicker around Hethel than the Evora S. That's pretty impressive in my book on a 2.2 mile long track. Effectively laping an Evora S after just 9 laps.

Also makes it 1.8 seconds faster than the Exige Sport 350.

Perhaps they just picked the wrong colour and coach stripe to launch it.

If they'd stuck it out in Krypton Green or even LRG - and no stripe - we might have been less distracted by the chintz?

Have to laugh at all the X secs quicker round Hethel chat....

I assume that is 10s quicker than Evora S and not the Evora 400?

The stripe looks like an afterthought to make it stand out. A straight line along a car with stunning curves is a travesty otherwise what's not to like :thumbsup

Mr Robertson. Just out of curiousity, could you give us a list of all the Hethel lap times for the various cars since the S1???

Or even just the lap time of the S1??? We must be a good 30 seconds quicker by now, which is some going

People seem to forget that Lotus had a hand in the DeLorean.

I expect the Evora 650 to be announced last year and be able to lap Hethel in 2012.

Remember seeing it stated somewhere the time was on the optional sticky tyres which will account for a lot of the time difference. Can only use that trump card once though to gain the time difference or alter history later on

I kind of like it but not really relevant to me, would like to see a lower powered convertible though so I can buy 1 in 4 years time for a reasonable(ish) cost.

Why? Doesn't the laptime for a car clearly aimed at those wanting to hit the track not matter?

Correct as originally stated, 3 seconds quicker than the 400. At the end of the day they are only metrics of performance but gives an idea of the performance improvement. Yes on stickier tyres, but then no one seems to pick up Porsche when they do the same with GT3, GT3 RS or GT4 Cayman.

Folks give Lotus too much of a hard time. From where I stand they are trying their best with what they've got at the moment so that's enough for me to support them.
