No, at the end of the day it's still only got 260 ponies to N3's 300+.
Still one of the nicest spec 111r's out there. I would happily put it up against any modified Elise's out there for build quality as there is practically nothing I would do differently if I were to do it again.

The brakes were fine Neil, it's why I never went to 4 pots. Once I got rid of the pick up we had at KH they were spot on. Deliberately didn't buy 46mm which may or may not be one thing I would change but in reality I doubt anyone would have noticed the difference. I was primarily a road car with track use in mind not the other way round so neither was necessary.

Not everyone drives like you .............

What do you mean by Better? i never liked the bigger 4 pot, you get better feel with the smaller calipers, you just need bigger AP discs c/w ali bells.

Sorry folks, I'm only on a wind up seeing if Scib would bite. I had standard Calipers and normal sized nitrons on both my Elise's. It's only because dippers Honda S2 has those bits on it

Cheers guys :thumbsup

As Mike said the car rides really well on the 40mm Nitrons, but coming from Gaz coilovers on the red VX its hardly surprising that they are an improvement  TBH, they are even more compliant on the road than the Bilstein's I had on Lazy's blue VX.
Rosssco wrote:Nice Mike! But is it as quick as a SC VX..?
It is mate, not much in it but its definitely quicker. 8)

Ps, Mckean, these are for you :finger (Dipper Honda also has the same brakes BTW  )

That makes 3 I know about then, most go the Kometec route, very few go down the 2-11 route because it is more expensive but factory is always better than after market. The only reason the car is on Nitrons is because the Ohlins I had were for a 2-11 so Iwould have had to change the steering arms and dampener brackets or the dampener rods for longer ones. Easier just to change to Nitron.

Who owns the third one? Sure you are not confusing it as the one I built? (I use different login names on various forums).
