I would like my Momo re-covered in Alcantara as the surface is slippy and I am wearing thin leather gloves, but can not justify £220.

Just checked and a new suede one is £172.

Ps:- I can get a suede Sparco for £52 so no brainer.

Very impressed by the quality and was a fair bit cheaper than Transcal.
Don't do steering wheels anymore.

Arse end of nowhere but their work pics and experience makes them a real candidate if I do decide to re-trim the Elise... 2 seats, 2 door cards, a steering wheel centre and a console should hopefully not be too bad? Maybe the dash top and binnacle too.. Always threatening to get the interior redone!

:cheers

Bit of a bump... but I just had my Ultima steering wheel retrimmed at Royal Steering Wheels (www.royalsteeringwheels.com) mainly following recommendations from for on Porsche forums.

I wanted the original suede changed to leather, the rim made thicker, smooth leather on top and bottom, perforated leather on the sides and orange contrast stitching and an orange centre strip to keep me pointing forwards. £130 inc P&P and a 10 day turnaround. Really impressed.

That looks factory! Love it, I had toyed with having my interior done in different colour/material but now thinking of just refreshing by changing the alcantara bits as they're a tad bare in places

I've been given the name of this dude from a bodyshop along the road from my work, I'm going to investigate the price and have a look at the quality of their work.. (Alan Gibson Mobile Vehicle Coachtrimmer/upholsterer) 10 Stoneybank Gardens Musselburgh. I'll update once I talk to him and see his work
