Let's not forget that Jodie's legs bring an appealing vision to the party.

And she can drive.

Personally, I didn't think there was anything wrong with Chris Coffee, William Woodyard and the wee round cheery old rally man. :blackeye

Oh, and not forgetting the two strangely manly looking female presenters, Tiffany Dell and Victor Butler-Henderson. :leave

He has turned down programs along the lines of wheeler dealers as he thought they'd just not be much fun. The impression I got was he's still just as happy working on trucks , fitting in his bike races and doing TV stuff if it's of interest.

I'll miss the entertainment of the old show, but a revised version would be like doing a sequel film with different actors, some work some don't, I suspect this wouldn't.
how was his book?

I read it when I got out of hospital, best book I have read in a long time, probably because I was actually interested in pretty much all of the content.

well worth a read IMO.

I don't care, just as long as they keep Quentin Wilson locked in a cupboard somewhere, how did that guy EVER get on TV?

It was a good read, he is quite an unusual character, very down to earth. It was one of those books where you can follow through someone's life and see how they got to the rather unusual position they are in now.

I remember, around 8 or 9 yrs ago, along with other SEers, spotting a very old and dottled looking Tony Mason wandering around the autosport show, was a shame to see how much he'd aged....very likeable auld fella...

Let's not forget the sexy Julia Bradbury and Kate Humbles....yum
