Not great Saj - however, given the week I have been having its all of a sudden not top of my priority list.
There is a good chance that the car will have to be sold.... but I would like to think that Komotec get the latest Lotus ECU cracked, and the software updated and sent to me before I have to do so.

Sorry to hear this Tony. I hope that things work out for you.

Er. Is this after pouring the thick end of £4k into a bespoke exhaust? Oh dear.

I'm afraid so Campbell....
Unfortunately a completely unexpected redundancy AND becoming the victim of a vicious hit and run, within days of each other, has rather changed my 2015 priorities :(
I'll fight hard to try and keep it - But if it does have to go then I guess it's because some things are more important :(

Cheers Steve - fingers crossed - I guess the Yules face some difficult times ahead, but everything happens for a reason :(

That's a tough break, Tony. But sounds a little like your head's in the right place.

Hit & run is unimaginable.

But The Big R was one of the best things that happened for me and my family...

Thanks Campbell - we are trying to be upbeat.... Maybe the big R is the break my wife and I needed to do something better with our lives. However, I think recovering from being physically run over by a car is going to take a lot longer to get over (mentally if nothing else). The offender has subsequently been apprehended and faces some very serious charges and is due to plea next week - so I expect a messy court case to ensue (I can't comment for obvious reasons).
Sometimes you just stop and wonder "why?" - it's only March and this far 2015 isn't looking particularly clever.
Anyway - at least with all this enforced spare time I should be able to ensure that Speedfest is a good show!

Sorry to hear all the bad news Tony, I hope things are only positive for the rest of the year.

If the car has to go let me know if you want help to get the word out as I'll happily push it out on the Rev Limits page too.

Hopefully everything works out for you Tony,

10 months ago i was lying in a hospital bed wondering 'why me' and no, I'm probably in the best place I've been, it takes big events to focus your life, even though it didn't feel like it at the time (and often still doesn't) its probably one of the better things that has happened to me, opened my eyes to a lot of the parts of my life i barely showed an interest in.
