Re: Tree 1 Elise 0
That is good news Alan. Turn the accident into an opportunity and get all the normal gremlins under the front clam sorted while it's being replaced. Plus a fresh, chip free front end.

But what a opportunity. Well worth the wait?

That is madness. But at least you'll soon be back in the Elise again. Did your policy cover a loan car?

Car is drivable even managed to get it through an MOT last month.
I believe the French manufacturer of the clams went bust and it has taken all this time to get a new supplier on-board, hopefully others will not have such a long wait.
I would have been happy to use a pattern clam but insurance insisted on an OEM clam.

Would be a laugh if the new OEM clam fit worse than a pattern one!

I trust they've supplied you with a courtesy car for the duration?

Full respray - same colour?

Yeah just going to keep it the same colourDominic wrote:Full respray - same colour?

Mark the car is still drivable so did not need a courtesy car, don't think the insurance co would have paid for one for a year.

P.S... was not suggesting anything was wrong with the colour it is.

Hope it all goes together nicely
