Didn't Matt already 'shape' the handling of most modern AM's, through the development work Lotus did for them? :P

Think so, can only be good for AM though. Sad to see him leave Lotus

From TLF

RIP Roger Becker. Very sad news from his family that he passed away this morning after a long and dignified fight with cancer. Roger was not only the man who helped make Lotus the legend in Engineering that it is, he also defined for 40 years what makes the cars so special for us and was a hugely intelligent, wonderful, generous man. Our thoughts are with his family, a very sad loss.

I only met Roger once in 2001.

After Tut Towers I was invited down to Hethel by Nick Adams for a personal tour of the Lotus Production Line and the models in development, and Roger was one of the team that showed me around.

Best hang on to what you've got, then!

Mine's a Minter / Rackham / Thomson progeny, and they're all long gone :-(
Mr Rackham is here and very busy, although we did just have time for a coffee ......!
Graeme, please saty hello to Richard Rackham & Russel Carr... I had the fortunate opportunity to meet them both at your HQ and at the LEGO offices near Windsor when I tried to get the 340r made into a LEGO model. This was all back in 2004ish, long time ago now. I think Katie D was the marketing lady also involved and she left and got involved in other things... Either way Russel & Richard were great to meet despite LEGO dragging their heels at the time and unable to get the 340r into an official LEGO model so long ago. See if they remember over a coffee :thumbsup
I briefly got to say hello to Matt Becker while being shown around your HQ.
