We've been over to Cowden-beneath with our two. Looking to go back but they have flippin' packed social diaries at weekends now!

So I'm guessing that answers my question about suitability for my Calum, who is at that age where crashes etc are deemed "cool"

We had Cameron (2 1/4 years at that time - though reasonably car savvy so we thought he was ready for it) at Cowdenbeath just after New Year for a Sunday special. He LOVED it! "Bish, Bash, Bosh" as he calls it, is now his favourite video on the iPhone.

A MUST visit with any kids, some really good racing, brilliant crashes and a large dose of sportsmanship from time to time too (broken down or stalled vehicles getting a nudge back into the race).

Can't wait to go again - fixture list here - http://www.gmpscotland.co.uk/meetings/f ... -2014.ashx

Watched the programme on BBC2 also - really liked little Alfie :-)

Cheers

ITV World of Sport - Figure or Eight. Note the guy stuck, unassisted, for ages in the rolled car. Different times! :D
