As a regular buyer, PayPal is an ideal system for me.

On a different vein, just discovered the Halifax Clarity CC which seems to be a no brainer for holidays or if you are travelling outside the UK. It gives a conversion rate the same as the Bank daily rate, ie $1.67 to the £ and €1.21 to the £, plus no conversion or interest charges when used as a CC, and it is free.

Ideal for Verians holidays, and also Ian spending half the year out of the Country. Along with the AA Visa card that gives points and pays for house insurance for us all, car insurance for some, and AA membership for the whole family every year.

Next step is to change the Bank accounts over to Santander 3-2-1.

Cashback on household bills:
1% on water, council tax bills and Santander mortgage payments1
2% on gas and electricity bills
3% on mobile phone, home phone, broadband and paid-for TV packages
+ Up to 3% AER (variable) interest on your balance upto £20K.

If they wish to pay me for money that i have to spend or save anyway, then I am happy to take it.

Remaining off topic, Tut I recently got the Clarity cc for use on a week abroad - it covered all my purchases and cash withdrawals. The latter is normally advised against due to attracting interest immediately but I simply used online banking to transfer the money from my bank account each evening. Total interest bill for the month was £0.03 - no other conversion or transaction charges.

Also have the 123 account - even after tax it at least matches the best cash ISA rates.

Goods tips on the Clarity card & Santander account benefits :thumbsup
I already do the AA card for those benefits and have recently started using a GM CC again for money off Vauxhalls (for other half & winter hack motoring).
Just wish Lotus would do one too, for money off servicing and cars - Graeme?????

Ohh dear...
Yeah, i sold two fishtanks 1 small one £25 and a 95L one for £50.
Small one sold in a day, everyone wanted the £50 for £30 (tossers)
Readvertised large one for £120 (added it was suitable for hot or cold water) (really) got £110 and a quick sale.
Nowt as strange as people..
