I look back on those old American Sedans that we used to think were horrible, but I have changed my mind now.

They had class compared to the majority of boxes that we get nowadays which are very much clones of each other, and I can barely tell apart.

Same with most things these days.
If you look back at old European cars it's the same story.
I think the Lotus bike is pretty ugly but at least it's not a clone of what's about these days.
Even all the Jap superbikes and the BMW or Triumph look very similar.

Think my 10R is around the 165kg mark, 180bhp at the rear wheel so quite similar.

I never classed the Hayabusa as a sports bike in the pure form,as quoted too heavy.Probably "tame" geometry also( lost touch with biking when I gave up 3 or 4 years ago so maybe talking shi+e!!)
Last bike was a 1st generation KTM Superduke, tweaked to 125BHP with smooth power delivery.Ideal bike for the rough Scottish roads, great brakes, good suspension travel and beautifully damped plus that glorious torquey twin :D Sorry bit of reminiscing thread drift

Rode my mates Busa recently.
Deffo not a sports bike, fast but steers like a barge due to long wheelbase, geometry and bulk.
Very stable though.
