Very valid point indeed Jason.

Something I hadn't actually noticed tbh, but explains exactly why the "feel" of SE has changed for the worse of late.

Perhaps it's just a sign of the times, but Maggies death thread certainly turned way uglier than I could've ever anticipated.

We should be adult and intelligent enough to separate subjects discussed whether on cars, politics, religion(pointless), or the countless other threads that we have come up with over the years.

There are very few that I do not read, but if it is one that I am not interested in then I do not bother opening it. Personally I would rather try to find something good about somebody even if I dislike them, offhand I can not think of anyone that I have actually hated, but others amongst you may differ.

Absolutely tut, but for sure I'll not be using personal opinions voiced on a car forum to form my decision come 18th Sept.

Oh and I hate no one on here, but certainly dislike quite a few of you :damnfunny

I think it is a shame if people shy away from commenting on what may become the biggest change in their lives. I happened on watching the parliament channel yesterday evening (purely by accident you understand) but got hooked by the parliamentary select committee discussing independence. Personally I think it should be compulsory viewing for everyone who will vote - it scared me and my family s***less about what independence would mean.

Watch it on iplayer http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0 ... Committee/

(sorry Jason)

I have a great next door neighbour, his name is William Smith, mine is David McLeod Duncan. He wears a bomber jacket and a baseball cap proclaiming "Vote Yes" so you can guess his views on Cameron, Clegg, Maggie, and being ruled from London.

However over a glass or three of Laphroaig we banter quite happily over the subject, I am in fact far more open minded, Willie has a completely one tracked view. But he does know his subject, so I have to swat up before he comes around. His vote will only go one way, but I will wait until closer to the time and hopefully have more information, though as I have said before, it will be what I think is best for my family, Nationalism will not come into it.
