I remember seeing the registration plat AK 47 on the M8. You would expect it to be on some gangsta mobile with blacked out windows, it was on a sky blue lexus with an old dear driving.

Also remember seeing an the registration PEN 15 on old top gear. They owner got sick of his missus driving is merc SL, bought the registration plate and the problem was solved.

The 'stolen' plate is actually S70LCN with a strategically placed screw iirc and belongs to Gordon Shedden.

That used to belong to Steve Parrish, I've got a picture of it somewhere from a fun day I did with MCN in 1990.

Fairly sure Parrish had PEN 1S (S rather than 5) and either he, or a future owner was asked to surrender it back to the DVLA when they tried to clean up a bunch of rude plates or something.

I always remember seeing 4 KOF when I was a teen.

The common ones that make me smile are the Edinburgh (I think) SL08 plates. Plenty of them, and especially funny on a fat car.

Come across a couple of cars, white Merc S - YE55 SCO, and a silver BMW of some description with something else YES related this morning.

The BMW decided to speed up and undertake me just as I passed him whilst the Merc was a bit too close for comfort behind me, all just after I pulled out to let them join the road

Maybe driving like a fool is a shock tactic to get more exposure for the campaign or something..
