List price and price you pay are a long way apart, Corsa VXR can be had brand new for £17.5k and that is with 0% and lifetime warranty.

Dave
Vauxhall are making reasonable cars and if you were planning on keeping them longer term, the warranty has got to be a consideration.
If you feel left out and want a Corsa, there are plenty pre reg /nearly new passing hands at about £7500 - £9000
Simple rule with Nearly new Vauxhall is divide price by 2......if It has a registration plate.
Just let me know

When I sent the Insignia back to Motability, I put it into WBAC.com for a laugh.
It was a top of the line spec at £32K, one year old, 9K miles, they offered £11.2K.

Shall we have a whip round and get Ape one as long as he records and shares all the warranty claim phone calls?

Leasing can make sense if there is a heavy manufacturer subsidy on a particular model. It's usually not too difficult spotting them.
One of the best websites is
www.contracthireandleasing.com which is like a leasing price comparison page. Lings cars is usually a very expensive option.
It's not very difficut to blag a business lease either so I wouldn't rule that option out.
