Clarkson also tweeted....

'Piers Morgan is tweeting about Top Gear ratings. Dangerous ground for a man whose global show gets fewer viewers than Cash in the Attic'

PMSL.

episode one was poor, countdown girl and Joss Stone saved it !

Bloody tennis !!
If I didn't bother watching andy murray, why on earth did they think i'd want to watch four numpties leaping around like idiots instead of top gear ?
Due to not being the decision maker in this family, I only saw saw up to some old bloke in a reasonably priced car......
When is the repeat ?

Episode 2 will be along shortly.

Much better episode I must say, apart from the freerunner sh!te.

I think I want a BAC Mono even more now, and the 'rarri was indeed sounding loverly :D

Yup - the F12 segment is potentially the best filmed segment they have ever done and the BAC Mono track test looked epic (especially on the fast lap) Okay, so they sandwiched the usual sh*te, but that was bearable because of the quality bookends to the show. If they were all like this, I'd never moan ;)

Good viewing :thumbsup
Reference the Mono, sure they said it cost £105k but on other road tests it is in the £70-80k range, ( not that it makes any odds I still cant afford it)

Suspect thats because
a - its had a price increase
b - when specced , like and Atom or Caterham, the price goes up another 20%!

Missed the start & Mono so thanks for letting me know.

Thought it was sh*t the F12 didnt go round the track? Unless i missed that also?

ps - thought Clarksons verdict was a bit weak - too much to do - thats what I want from a car - hence the Atom purchase :thumbsup

The F 12 was filmed in the spring in sunny Pitlochry.
I believe they stayed at the Athol Palace, thats where the tennis courts were. And the town part was the main street.

Think we missed it by a couple of hours, but were enjoying a pint outside that night in the sunshine when the barstaff told us they had been past a few times with the camera crew.
Not sure why they said it was down south?

It was 0.8sec faster around the track than was the Atom V8, which was surprising.

All of us here want a BAC Mono and a Ferrari F12.

And Lisa also wants the sailboat.

I will just be glad to have my S1 back

And Joss Stone as our Au Pair.

Mclaren MP4-12.. Interested to see Clarkson now singing it's praises - pretty sure he was lukewarm about it when tested A couple of years ago in the Aventador/M600 test.

I like 'em - would I chose one over a used 458? Unlikely. Still, dreamers like me probably aren't the target market!
