F1 had Elan indicators on it too didn't it?
Anyway, sorry for the drift. I think in coupe for the DB7 is nice but not breath taking - even less so minus the roof.
Horses for courses but I'm thinking parts bin parts will still be fitted by high labour mechanics so it could end up being a pricey endevour. What sort of mpg do they get?

MX-5 inner door handles too - my old man had one of the first 40 to come off the line (circa early '95), and had so much bother, it got sent back to Bloxham as an example to the staff how bad the first batch were....
Still fcuking beautiful it was in silver though, but was a nightmare for MMC and poor old George Paterson

I always forget that was your dad
Liked his cars....ah those were the glory days of MMC. Was speaking to someone ref George yesterday - old Bob still works down at Graypaul, George is happily in France with his caravan

Now this comment really surprises me!!

If you drive anything with a 4-speed auto now (GM or otherwise) they feel very very old. The five speeder clutch was heavy but nothing compared to a proper Aston - V8 Vantage (the old school badass 550bhp monster) was the heaviest - what a car tho

He still is my Dad Graeme

Still going strong, and still has the old Conti, after he took the huff at Roger's trade-in offer against a DB9 Volante a few years back
I'll mention George to him - what a true gent

I second that, George is such a nice guy, hope he's enjoying his retirement. Tell him I was asking after him if youre in touch with him Graeme

Love the DB7s

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.
