Yup, it's confusing!
I've got an '04 plate S.
Standard 120hp K-series- not long before the Toyota engine appeared.
The 'S' merely denoted a slightly less hardcore spec around about that time, which included electric windows, additional sound deadening (

) and such spurious luxuries....
