Does anyone have details of cheap ToyoR888 or AO48's in the Glasgow area that would be able to fit on Friday.
Just phoned my usual place and they quoted me 360 for 2 R888's 60 quid more than I paid for them just a few months ago.

Have you tried Jim Dickson in cumbernauld?
Be interested in how much a full set of R888's work out as.
There's also Motorsport Wheels in Cambuslang - but I'd try Jim first.

Even Lord Scuffers of FFS says that there's not that much difference in compounds and negligable 'feelable' difference. Not sure which standard compund (they come in a variety of hardnesses) relates best to the LTS though....

ronnie and a few others have mentioned that for non LTS, get soft compound for the fronts, and medium hard for the rears. as close, apparently, as you can get to LTS.

Give David Mathewson a call; 0141 445 3322 (govan). He is currently working on suppliers to get a quote for a group buy, (which should be coming (the quote) in the next few day or so)
