Thanks everyone for the positive words, and I'm glad people like the look of the site. We'll be adding more photos as we get them, but it's winter and that makes for tricky summer conditons

The Cobra belongs to the father of the previous owner (it's actually a Pilgrim which he built himself). The photo at the top of the page I took in August when we were viewing the place looking to buy. It wasn't planned that's just where he parked, and I think it actually worked quite well :D . There's a sort of race revival thing every year at Bressuire (20mins away) where they raced a street circuit in the 50s ( http://www.silhouet.com/motorsport/tracks/bressuir.html ) and he usually enters in the historic section.

Facebook page on the way so keep an eye out for that!

All the best with it Tom, looks cracking.

As well as facebook you may as well setup a business twitter account - every bit has to help. I find it very useful.

The website pictures don't do the place justice, with 30 degree heat, an awesome swimming pool, T+G luxury hospitality, it is a winning combo as a holiday destination!

The wife and I headed out for a week for NY, despite offers to help, we just totally relaxed..... If we had of stayed any longer, then we would either have turned into fromage, baguette or a lovely bordeux!!

An easy flight on RyanAir to Poitiers, and we were there in an hour, uber cheap if booked now for summer months, and if you are more active than our lazy asses, then there is plenty to do.

Tom mate, here is to you and Gill doing really well, and chuffed you finally got Internet!

Dave :D

Oh and P.S, as I have said before, mega kahoonas for ditching everything and just doing it!

Looks magic Tom, well done indeed for having the baws, and after the lovely gite we had last year in Haute-Provence I fancy another further north and easier to drive to - will be in touch :thumbsup

Thanks everyone :D . SEers always welcome, and I'm busy scouting out the best roads in the area (although population density much lower in France, and it's quite rural so it's pretty much B road heaven anyway :thumbsup )

Love to but don't have any other pictures of the pool :( . In the process of installing a heater, and then it'll be filled and looking lovely! Hopefully that'll be within the month, but currently still frosty overnight so we'll see. Feedback alway good to hear though :thumbsup

Photos updated :thumbsup Managed to track down an old photo of the pool (without the fence). New ones in the pipeline.

Still a work in progress though :D
