I've actually come over all zen about the whole thing. Yes I could complain but they know where i live, it's a distintive car which I park in Killie all the time etc. Not worth the hassle for 60 quid. Just annoying.

Next time - Croft in Tarbolton. Know my car and they are actually a motorsport outfit (rallying) so know the score.
Is he an MOT station?
I use Ken Brown in Glasgow normally (near work adn recommended) in Killy I use Oz (Oswald Thomson I think) next to Morrissons but neither do MOTs.
Oz is ace, dirt cheap, takes cash but he doesn't have ramps (a couple of four point lifts but it would be difficult to get the tray off) so the Liz has only been there once, and to be honest he normally seems to look after the bangar end of the market. My bangars always used to go there.
I took some doggy Nissan my sister bought a few months ago to him when she was visiting and it broke down (again). He had a look and then we had a chat and I phoned the garage that sold it her.
Using the stuff he told me and pretending to know what I was talking about got her a refund! He didn't charge even me for his time - rare these days.
PM me if anyone wants his number but like I say I probably wouldn't take th Liz there - just not really his market (does that sound condescending? Hope not I would just rather use someone with experience of the marque.) but great for the second car ond often not far off cheaper than doing it yourself (your time is worth sometheing plus that tool you know you'll have to buy etc).
