Tough one. I would be looking at a boxster though bro, solid choice. You might have to stop getting those blonde bits put in your barnet though if you guys got one

Its at least worth a test. I reckon it would be pretty much worry-free motoring on the breakages and tinkering front.

My brother has one just like that (but in yellow  ) love driving it, its got a sports exhaust and sounds fantastic. certainly don't be prejudice against it until you have driven one. There is a good reason they are so popular, they are a fantastic all rounder.

The Europa is a great car, drove one before i bought the Exige, however i couldn't see why it would be any easier/cheaper to insure than an Exige. But i see that you have found that out already by the quotes you received.

Z4 coupe or if you could stretch to it an slk55 would be immense, wonderful V8 noise.

I can see everyones point for the boxster but I have driven one and it just didnt do it for me, yes its a great car and well refined but missed the x factor, know what I mean?!

Tis a good job theres a few months to decide.

You may need to adjust the handbrake on this example, but one of these would be cool...

Phil - just a thought on insurance........

Not sure who you're with but mrs donkey is 26 and only passed her test a year ago but she's insured on the 300c and the (heavily modded) VX no problem as we're with admiral mulitcar. As long as your mrs has her own car then it could be worth a chunky saving on whatever you buy?

Not sure if that makes things better or worse, but none of the specialists i used to use would even consider insuring mrs donkey on the VX as a single policy.

Mainly using bell, admiral, elephant as they have always been the cheapest for me. This would be our only car so the multicar wouldnt apply.

Ive just check the Europa again and its 1200 for just myself, strangely im only 750 on the evo :?:

Ive not given up yet, might have to try it at my parent house as the car would probably spend most of its time in the garage there... honest

Boxster does have the x factor but its one of those cars that seems a bit ordinary on first acquaintance. But once you have cloaked up a few miles, hit the rev limiter in 1st,2nd,3rd,4th, went sideways round a few roundabouts and barrelled it down your favourite B road it starts to reveal hidden talents. Cars are just like women really, the best ones take time to get to know. The ones that thrill on your first date are invariably bad news.
