She called me a couple of months ago to say she was coming up, and did i want to go with her to a wedding. I had to give her the elbow as I had the SE x-mas night out already booked.

The Sunday run should have gone past Drumtochty Castle where the Wedding was held...2 miles east of the 'river crossing'.

Took my wife for a one night stay at Skibo Castle for her 30th. Sat next to Tim Henman over lunch in the club house. I am not easily star struck and was so 'whatever' about it. Told the wife beforehand that she may meet some famous people there but to be cool.
She was hitting my leg with her mobile under the table and the text on it saying 'is that who I think it is?'
So much for acting cool

Also, saw Mr Big from Sex in the City on flight to ABZ. All the wimen were cooing over him......I was not!

Also also, met Lorraine Mackintosh from Deacon Blue in a church creche during a christening I was at. I had Jamie with me in the creche and she told me what a lovely baby I had. I wanted to her she had something nice too but held back....I have always had a thing for her! After she left her husband, Ricky Ross, popped his head round the door looking for his wife!

Also also also, (one for the pervs!) was in Spearmint Rhinos in Las Vegas during a stag-do and Jenna Jamieson was on stage doing some pole dancing! Yes.....Jenna Jamieson!

A few years ago on a Sunday afternoon on a return flight from Norwich to Edin (eastern airways at the time), Prince William, protection officer and I had an hour together on the tiny prop plane. No other passengers on it. He was returning to St Andrews after seeing mother at Sandringham. All very ordinary and low key. Genuine nice bloke (or future King)

Got off with my weekend plastic bag and walked in the terminal while he jumped in the Range Rover. At least I must check out okay security wise

Liked Easterns in flight meal consisting of a pack of shortcake biscuits and an opened bottle of wine.
