What ever you do, do not short cut on pads for a hot 4 hour track day followed by a two day high mileage road run, or you will be caught out and it will spoil your weekeend.

If you are in any doubt and have new pads, then fit them and keep your used ones as spares. If not buy some as soon as you can get them.

The same goes with tyres. If you are in doubt, then they will probably be illegal by Sunday.

Thanks. Should've thought of that  .

copied from elises.co.uk.

The disks on the S2 are different to those used on the S1. They are the same diameter, but have a different offset and venting.

Don't know if that means you can't put S2 discs on an S1 or vice versa :? but yeah the pads i guess are the same :? :D

The disks are different but the pads are the same (including the Toyota variants it seems).

I am happy to lend out the pads - just get me a replacement set by return.

If you're stuck MMC did stock the EBC greens once upon a time - you could easily slap a set of those in and they will last for the track day and weekend run I am sure.

Cheers,
Robin
