Not really, he didn't take it over the pass. 8)

It was just on the roads back that I gave him plenty of room, to let me stop when he had his massive accident! That, and I'd limited myself to 4krpm after the scary engine noises on the pass.

To be fair, the only time he pulled any distance was when I was unwilling to broach 120tuts on the public road

Dom was saying that some people were having an issue keeping up with the Astra at Dukes Pass?
Astra in Exige slapping shocker.
Aye, your esteemed brother is a bit quiet today.... Perhaps not as chipper as he appeared on Sunday, eh?

Nah - Ed wasn't with our group going back to Glasgow. He would probably have bottled it though

To be fair to Kenny, Dom's been hooning those roads regularly for a decade or so and has a 'few' trophys sitting around the house. No real dishonour for being a bit more sensible (esp. after seeing the aftermath of a totalled Clio outside Strathblane - fuzz & meat-wagon in attendance)

Certainly, if there wasn't a car mismatch, I wouldn't see which way he went most of the time....

I was referring to the despicable nick of Lord Ed on Saturday night. Although I do admire his brass neck with some of the barmaid blags he tried on....

I've never been particulary comfortable driving at 10/10ths on the road, especially in the dark when its starting to rain.
Better to get there 5mins later than not at all.

Will see you on track Tom

Sat night round to a mates for the Hatton fight, then Golf again on Sunday. Even though that's tame by your lot's standards, I've been on the peeve every night since last thursday! I'm knacked :? !

Boy's a loonbag, that's for sure. I've been out as a rear seat pax in that Healey - which is much like going out as a rear seat pax in an Elise.... You sit so high that you are a good foot above the windscreen.

Not that the windscreen is much use anyway, as most of the time it was 45 degrees on to the direction of travel....
Christ! You lot make me sound like some sort of nutter! I'm really quite a slow sensible driver. I am a member of the institute of advanced motorists (you know the steering wheel feeders), have a clean licence and have never crashed (except in a rally but that does not count);- touch wood. I may occasionally dabble in a little motorsport and occasional spirited drive :D
