Nice first pic of the 'old' car Lawrence. Fond memories of the first time I cranked it with Janspeed and Hurricane fitted...seems like eons ago!
Pic shows the 'baby octopus' air intake system of the S2 111S pretty well.

Those photos look suspiciously like you live opposite my Aunt and Uncle's old house Lawrence. You don't know Bette and Innes McCowan do you? That is Oxgang's Road isn't it? They moved from there about 6 months ago but lived there for years.

I'll be down Saturday morning Lawrence. Drop Nicola in town then be round - maybe 1030 ish...
Couple of wee jobs, nothing needing the ramp.
1. Try to fit the std. belts in addition to the harnesses (spatial geometrists required to manoeuvre the seats if I don't take the roof off).
2. Slap some Pagids on the rear.
Cheers,
Ali

Ms M is working so I'll come along and no-doubt get in the way of things.

Looking good for me now too. Front and rear grilles dropped off at Stu Pollock's yesterday (thanks for the directions Lawrence!) for sand-blasting and powder-coating, hope to have back in time for re-fitting on Sat. Some interesting bodges required there...
Robin has cobbled together a new exhaust mount for us to try out.
All I need now is some relevant adhesive for fitting the renewed side-window scrapers. Seem to recall it's quoted in the workshop manual but can't lay my hand on that doc right now. Anyone got any further info?

i'll be in sat morning to show off my new honda, and to fix the alarm sensor in the boot. liberal application of blu tack has failed to resolve it, so its time for "no more nails" or maybe even a proper bodge if power tools are available
