Weather here was fantastic, clear winters day, roof off (Wrapped up like an eskimo!) and blasting around the coast just for sh*t and giggles.

Awesome! :D

I love my Liz even though I haven't seen a summer in it yet!

Stick with it m8ty!

More fun today in the snow. :)

Never over 20mph, particularly nice 5mph drift from Holburn st. onto Union St. this morning. :D

Always wary of the other traffic though.

I must really piss off the numptys without lights who still want to do 40 in the 30 limit, 10 feet from the car in front, and an eight inch pile of snow on their roof...

Worked from home this morning, but did use the Passat Estate to take the we'ans to school.

Then took the Elise to work at lunch time in the glorious sunshine and slip-sliding all the way home (including a twitchy powerslide on Gt Southern Road and on Kingsgate

Yeee Haaa

Must admit the last dregs of winter are pissing me off at the moment, despite no snow and barely a touch of frost, Glasgow roads are under an inch of salt. Its always the same every year. Come Feb/March all surplus salt is dumped over the next few weeks in order to keep the same budget for next year.

Kenwood cynical faction.

I got stuck tonight in the car park at footie. :(
Thankfully a few of the players on hand to help with a push and a with bit of judicious handbrake as improvised LSD we got out. :D

Cheers,
Ali

Coming home tonight in a blizzard to find the local plough driver had obviously decided my culdesac was a priority and cleared that before the A roads - unfortunately left all the snow from my estate across my drive (I've got the last house). Thought I'd try a bit of Hollywood driving...tried to burst through it. Hmmmm. Harder than it looks  Now I've managed to beach the car on the drift... Believe it or not, both front and back wheels turn freely - it's cheaper than a four post ramp. Shame I changed the pads a couple of nights ago!

Have to work out how to get the car down tomorrow. Glad I've got a day off...

And to think when we were wee we loved the snow!! What a pain in the @rse, we couldn't even get out of our street this morning.

Everyone was out trying to clear their driveways, then some dude came along in a mini snowplough doing the pathies and blocked everyone's drives up again :o  Another hour passes and just getting clear when a digger thing with a plough on the front flies round the street piling everything up again  :? :scratch

The VX was meant to be going back on the road this week tae.
