I had a Esprit for 5 years, and loved it. However when they go wrong, they can be costly. Robbie also had one, and he spent thousands on his engine. Not becuase he wanted to!!!!!!!!!. Its because they only last in my opinioun around 50000 miles before a engine rebuild. To build a engine properly you wont have change out of 4K. Then you have the gearbox, and on and on. I dont know anyone that has not had any major expense to fork out on these cars, and you dont get your money back when you wish to sell on. The V8 has also got its down falls.

But please this is only my opinion.

Sure has Stu, 7 years and almost £35,000 me thinks, and you did all the custom bits!! hahah great work mate all turned out great will bring it round one day... All good mate, May have a few more custom interior bits for you to make?

Del, no problem buddy, could meet you somewhere if you like, not looking like it's going to sell anytime soon as no interest, not fussed to be honest as i'm loving it? Need to see and drool over your new car too for that matter!!

Heavy as hell on fuel at the moment I think the map need a bit of correcting? will go through about £15 to edinburgh and back to livingston...an evening in the Esprit is a weeks worth of fuel in my Bora TDi Going to Dunfermline every day...

P.S no engine rebuild needed here or anything esle for that matter as almost everything is new... Only original bits are... Chassis, Main body, Glass, Engine block, pistons (although modified), con rods, liners. That's about it I think... suspension was replaced when it was last on the road, would like the new Lotus stuff for it though..
