Heated windscreen

It looks very nice, but it looks like a lot more weight could be saved with less interior.

Does it come with a fabric hood or rain cover at all Kenny?

Not long now until April either. :D

I was at the NEC at the weekend, the production car on the stand looks great. They've made some subtle changes to the body shape and it looks all the better for it.

The screen is heated as there is no heater at all, just the heated seats so the screen needs to be heated to keep it clear. It's bolts in/out in around 30 minutes and is a complete unit with wipers, motors, screen washers etc. all built it.
The E10 doesn't come with a screen or roof as standard, they're both options. They're still designing the 'get you home' roof that'll go with the screen, no side protection though.

Sounds good. That is all you need in a roof. A wee shower cape or tonneau for when parked up and you'll be sorted :thumbsup

As Ross said Caterhams have heated screens. To pass an MOT a car has to have a system to de-mist the windscreen, if you haven't a heater, a heated screen is required.

I'm not aware of any connection.

Given the claimed weight of 450kg, carbon fibre tub, sequential box and the 'feet up' (whatever that is?) driving position, I'm guessing the Elemental RP1 will be a fair bit pricier than the E10s

I'd assume the 'feet up' refers to the F1 position where below your knee is as high as your head?

Certainly be interesting in a road car.....visibility etc
