Here is a pic of the ad PDF. You can't make out the wording very well but you get the idea.
Can I just say thanks again to you guys using it and please leave reviews at the App Store as it all help promote it.
Cheers

Just bought the app for Verian's iPad Andy, but only paid £0.69p for it. Have you reduced the price as I thought £1.49 was peanuts for a useful program.

However nothing is coming up on a search for the program or Lite on the iPad in the App Store.

tut

ps:- can you get it put in the App Store as it would give you more exposure.

Changed the price after the newspaper ad as didn't see much of a blip in sales. I put this down people wanting to pay 69p or free for apps. It has an ad in Top Gear magazine for Feb edition we'll if the price makes any difference. Defo a perception about pricing as folks mentioned on here before. It's a shame as I wanted to price it at 99p but Apple decide with there tiered pricing...
I've not bought it on an iPad so not sure how you find it in App Store...if its different from phones?! Try the link on the website if that makes buying it easier?
I'll try and copy a link here in a mo

Answer from app chap...

"I think it just shows apps that are only made for the iPad or have a
separate iPad version. iPetrolhead is a universal app, which works on all
devices without having different versions but I don't think it lists
universal apps in the iPad section."

Andy, Verian and I now have the app on both our iPads, I have filled the details in on mine, so is there a way of syncing it with hers so that she does not have to start from scratch?

I thought iCloud might do it, but no joy so far.

Tut...you only need to buy one app and have it on one device. Using iCloud under one persons Apple ID login and turn on iCloud calendars. There are some pics of this way back in the thread. Getting it to work is an Apple technique if you like as the app simply sends the data to the main device calendar and the Cloud takes care of the sharing. Does that make sense? Took me a wee while to get familiar with iCloud/calendars but it does work.
Good luck and may the force be with you :D

Thanks Andy, will try that out.

Quite happy to buy it twice as it is being used under two different names on the iPads.

Tut...you might be better just sticking all car dates under one device then. The app should handle any number of cars.....and always remember to update and remove dates from the app not the calendar. Read FAQ on website as it will really help you :thumbsup

Just gone through the upgrade to ios6 to be able to eventually download and buy this app.

Realised last week that the Mini MOT was due 5 months ago, in September

With 8 cars and a microlight aircraft that needs the same "tax" insurance, service and "MOT" as the cars, I guess my paper list is now ditched and I am now in the 21st Century. :)

:cheers

Thanks for buying and I hope the app helps you remember those MOT dates etc.
