Eh?
Let me rephrase lol. I will post the individual items & costs later, see if I was ripped off. I didn't do a whole lot of research, but I was dead cert on Brand New, dead cert on the colour and dead cert on both options packs.
G.
Edit: And I bought from MMC Edinburgh.

I am guessing 28 for car
2 for touring pack
2 for super t.p.
1.2 for hard top
.8 for air con
& most of the packs are discounted on current Lotus offers?

It will be interesting to see how you can add the thick end of £8K in two option packs....

'00 S1 Elise (permanently SORN'ed it feels like)
'25 Tesla M3 daily
'94 Suzuki Cappuccino

36k Elise

That must be with the "Interior in carbon leather and encrusted with diamonds" option
I don't think most dealers have been shifting Elises, or Exiges for that matter, for anything near list for quite a long time now, even for cars built to order. Friend of mine bought a new Exige S recently from a dealer down south and got air con, metallic paint and the sport pack thrown in for the base price without even having to haggle too much, although that was for a car already sitting in the showroom and he wasn't too fussed about colour.

/thinking cap on
S2 shed (if its the shape you like... not my cup of tea but there we go): 13 -£15,000
K20A Honda Install: £10,000
Supercharger: £2k
Total: £27,000
else, buy a car already converted for up to £25k
... that leaves £9-£11k for your first year's insurance, might just cover it

Ferrari 458
Porsche 993 C2
Disco V
