Do the water and oil not get heated by the block?PhilA wrote:the oil heats the water.
the water gets read and displayed on the dash.
the heated cannot be hotter than that which is heating it - else u should sell that technology!
hence, the water temp must be less than the oil temp, so the car should be warmed up.

I dont understand what you are on about, but if that was aimed at my post - I am simply going by what numbers flash up at what times on the cars I have driven.PhilA wrote:the oil heats the water.

After the first service you're free to use the 2nd Cam anytime you like. The second cam is not 'activated' at the first service - it's always been there - just lurking
Word of advice :
- let the car warm up past 84degC
- find a dry bit of straight road with no trees or potholes (best one to try first is a dual or m'way)
- get your mind straight
- watch the needle pass 6000, then at 6200 it'll make a bigger noise (especially with a 2Bular
), then quickly rush to 8 something, when the red light goes on. I say 8 something because i'm usually focussing on the road, listening to the exhaust and waiting for the rev limited light to come on in my peripheral vision.
- Use your brakes to slow you down, not the engine - cheaper to replace
Go enjoy !!!
