In the late 70's I had a Honda 400 Four which went into a high speed weave as I approached the Forth Road Bridge. I ended up bouncing up the road with the bike a few feet behind me. Somehow I got up and walked away from it with only a broken rib. The lorry driver who was travelling behind me was sure I was a goner. Didn't have any of the protective kit that motorcyclists now have. A few other 400 fours also suffered from high speed weaves after being fitted with TT100 tyres. A high speed weave on a motorbike is a very scary experience
