They dont exactly rev very high IIRC about 3-3.5k?

I suppose not!

1600 hp and 2800 lb-ft at 3k rpm at 12k feet.
Probably more like 1800 hp at sea level...

Saw one shoehorned into a s2 landy years back, will look for photos. Bit of a dent in the bonnet but a power bulge is acceptable over 1000bhp...
