Krishnan, I doubt we have any immigration lawyers here and I'm afraid my Firm don't dabble. In my experience (well, watching a few miscellaneous hearings in the Court of Session) Drummond Miller do Immigration law. Not sure if they're based in Abz though.

According to the Law Society of Scotland webbie, the following are registered as immigration practitioners in Aberdeen:-

Cohen & Co.
1 St. Swithin Row,
ABERDEEN,
AB10 6DL
Legal Post: LP 14, ABERDEEN 1

Gavin Bain & Co.
10-12 Chapel Street,
ABERDEEN,
AB10 1SP

Grant Smith Law Practice
Amicable House,
252 Union Street,
ABERDEEN,
AB10 1TN
Legal Post: LP 2, ABERDEEN 2

Iain Smith & Co.
20 Queens Road,
ABERDEEN,
AB15 4ZT
Legal Post: LP 18, ABERDEEN 1

Lindsay & Kirk
39 Huntly Street,
ABERDEEN,
AB10 1TJ
Legal Post: LP 41, ABERDEEN 1

Patience & Buchan
10 Golden Square,
ABERDEEN,
AB10 1RB
Legal Post: LP 11, ABERDEEN 1

The Commercial Law Practice LLP
Commercial House,
2 Rubislaw Terrace,
ABERDEEN,
AB10 1XE

I'm afraid I have no experience of any of these firms so I cannot give a recommendation. Best of luck :)

Can’t help I’m afraid. Immigration is fairly specialist so you will need somebody who does it regularly.

I have just had a look at the Law Society Of Scotland’s web page and see that Drummond Miller & Morton Fraser both do immigration from their Edinburgh offices. They are firms of good reputation and I would not hesitate recommend them but I don’t know their individuals who do immigration.

Was slightly surprised to see my own firms name on the list of firms which do immigration work

I’ll have to have a word with the law society about that because we don’t.
