Well i visited the Scottish Bike Show yesterday, and spotted the new Police bike. Its a Yamaha R1, and suppose it will catch most things???????

It was a good day with plenty of bargains. Well thats if you also like motorcycles. [/img]

There was also a few nice classic bikes there too. This Z1 i thought was the best.[img]

I fancied going through but £15 entrance fee is a bit steep for window shopping

I thought £15.00 was fair. They also let kids in free, if under 15. They had lots to buy, and even two piece leathers for £80.00. Shame i need a new exhaust for the Elise !!!!!!!!!

The other time I have gone there have not been that many bargains. I agree Children entrance Free is good, but based on previous visits I feel £15 is a lot, well for me it is. The downside of doing loads of voluntary work :( To be honest if it was a nice sunny day then I would be far more temtped to make it a bit of a day out on the bike.

just back from there... paid 10 quid entry cause the guy who pulled up next to me in the carpark with his son was minus his wife, so he gave me her ticket for a tenner.

Bought a helmet for track days and the odd karting day - 29 quid which was not bad! >>> Image

the knockhill and ohlins girls were nice! :wave :D

I have a 93 BMW R110RS and a 95 BMW F650. Had a test ride on a BMW R1200GS last year and thought it was an awesome allrounder. Going back to college in August to take further Childcare Course and may well try and get one in the future. I have owned most makes of bikes but never a Kawasaki. However I did have a Kawasaki Jet Ski which was great fun. But like roads the lochs are continually the focus of speed restrictions

Just as well I didn't make it through to the bike show as I would just have bought stuff I didn't really need, for example I have more crash helmets than some women have handbags  Plus I have a magnetic thingy and also a springy, clawy, thingy for retrieving lost nuts, bolts ect. I just need to save for a GS
