hi all,
having wrecked my rears at knockhill yesterday, I was wondering if anyone knows the cheapest place to get Yokohama AD07's. I wasn't impressed with MMC £170 per corner

That's well over the top. I recently priced some at JCT, the dealer in Leeds.
Rears at £108.51 and fronts at £77.77 both plus VAT. After a little bit of haggling, club discount etc, managed £400 for the full set inclusive of VAT, fitting and balancing.

Well I paid £394 for a full set from MMC so I don't know where £170 per corner has come from!
That price probably includes fitting at £70 per corner

Simon did you get them fitted locally to MMC

My rears are getting iffy. I've got bridgestones on at the mo, but going to get a full set of AD07s, just dont fancy paying MMC prices for fitting them.

No I took them away and got them fitted elsewhere but there's a few places near MMC that could do it for you I think.
In case you didn't know, there's a Scottish Elises discount of 10% on a full set of tyres (5% for a pair), the details are in the Offers forum.
