Anyone know who this belongs to?
No idea about the owner
but it's a crossflow by its looks so I'd avoid that
much better with a K, Caterham call it Reflex Blue like what Ross had

Hate the cages.
Fangio, Moss, short sleeve shirts, cloth helmet, no roll cage or even seat belts, fag in one hand, glass of wine in the other, and that is during the Grand Prix race...........

Its a very nice "looking" car, what with all the carbon.
But its a crossflow, and a Q plate (Which wouldnt bother me that much but devalues the car) so is probably worth £8k (hes asking £8950).
Its a cheap way to get the look but its not the best spec imho.
Lawrence is right, a k car would be better and at that kind of money an ex racer is better value.
Just my 2p

Just as a matter of interest would it be a big job to drop a K-Series into a car which was built as a X-Flow? Is the chasse etc the same?
Curious but absolutely no intention of doing anything so stupid faction.

Can't see why not... The fisher fury I had would accept X-flow, Pinto, K-series, RoverV8, Zetec (which is what I had) or bike engines. Might need to sort out engine mounting points I guess.
So, if you can do it on that kit... can't see why you could do it on a Caterfield.

Interesting. Given that you can get hold of a VVC and gearbox for around £1000 that might be an option for some lunatic.
But not me!!

If doing that, a crashed fireblade (or similar) would be my suggestion.... weight savings are well worth it. Get rid of a big engine and gearbox and have it all contained in a neat little package.
