But since Wendy asked it....
Why are the sporty models called "GT3". I never really gave it much thought when I had the Esprit GT3 or when I saw all the Porsche GT3s at KH at the weekend but is there a proper reason or is it just "one of these things"?

GT3 Race series, is what I always thought.

Green Subaru Impreza Turbo, a 'classic'.
Silver Jeep Cherokee 2.5 TD, on SORN spec...
