Car looks great

Like the colour, but for some reason I thought you had ordered it in scandal green

I think it is a real shame that the Europa has received such mixed reviews in the press, as I suspect Lotus would shift a lot more if they could just get more people to drive it. Must be plenty of folk who would enjoy Elise-like driver involvement with a bit more refinement. It also has masses of tuning potential - chipped to 250ish bhp (with way more torque than an SC Yota), A048s and stiffer suspension and it could be a bit of a track weapon as well as a great road car. Wonder if Lotus have plans for a Europa R?

As soon as I noticed them revise the Elise badging to go S then R, I began to believe a Europa R would arrive at some point. Stands to reason really..."If you can, you should..."
And Mark, I think you could be quite close re: the spec! Only extra bit would be the Targa roof. Then I *really* would want one.

Lawrence, I echo what others have said - looks very nice indeed, different enough from an Elise/Exige to be a seperate model in its own right
Now I've seen the pics, the colour choice is superb - anything lairy such as Krypton would've been plain wrong
Look fwd to seeing for real even more now

Lovely car

.. I slated it myself.. until I saw it for real.. There was one parked next to my exige in the showroom at Hexham, and I thought to myself.. "wouldn't it be nice to have them both.. Europa for during the week and the exige for the weekend..".
enjoy!

Just noticed a thread over on Seloc about the Europa with this photo of a one at Plans Motorsport with lowered suspension and bigger wheels/tyres. Looks great

how much are they?
i saw one in 2005 at lotus' place in norwich.
was a silver one - was being driven about the factory.
first view was of it from behind as it went round a wee roundabout.
instantly thought "nice"
