where to get my car services close to motherwell/glasgow?

Post by ninja » Mon Jan 09, 2006 1:17 pm

my elise is needing and MOT and service.

this will be at 34k, the belts having already been done at the earlier service at 29k. i also need a gattor for my gearbox cos the existing one is leaking very slightly.

anyway, i don't want to have to drive all the way down to newcastle to see dan again if i can avoid it, so are there any good guy's up here who won't cost an arm and a leg?

Brunty?

He's an elise owner on the yahoo groups. I've no personal experience of his work but know that quite of few of the elise guys who know better have used him in the past.

google for DBmotorsports or DBRmotorsport.

Cheers

Yeah I'd say Brunty. IIRC he isn't set up for MOTs but he'll probably have a tame inspector nearby (have you SEEN those VWs :P )

Used him in the past for brake pad and oil changes and as I'm out of the clutches of Vax warranty in March thats where my car is going for its next service.

I think a few on here have used him Top bloke :D
Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.

....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?
