Is that legit? It looks like a different version of the form I've recently received through work for the same offer. It was a special 'partner' offer for customers of Threshers/etc. Not sure if someone has manipulated the form, because the one I've got (which looks almost identical) has a space to enter your employer details.

You should have been watching "Where eagles dare" then - a classic film - one with a plot and actors :-)

To be fair Threshers have realised their mistake and it has gone horribly wrong for them, however....they are honouring it until 10th Dec - so fill yer boots!

£100 bottle of champers for £60 - me likes the sound of that!

Apparantly it was sent to key suppliers, and it said you may pass it round your friends anf family...

I think someones ass is going to get whooped for that one!!!

Look at it more closely. Looks like a bloody clever marketing ploy to me.

Their starting bottle price is high, so even with the discount, I can pay the same or mostly less from Tesco Online, who have half price offers on all the time.

We drink more white than red nowadays, and more sparkling than still white, so Tesco Brut Cava Sparkling is only £33 for a case of 12, £2.75 a bottle.

tut is correct.

I think the thing about it having gone wrong for them must be a rumour - as they permanently have 3 for 2 on all wines and champagnes anyway (i.e. 33% off) so its not like another 7% (and increased sales anyway because of it) is going to hurt them.

Okay maybe you are right, and it seems pretty silly for them not to have thought of the consequences, but 40% is a pretty good discount!

The only reason i thought that it was real as the quote from a Threshers director was in the business section of a well know broadsheet!

I'm with tut on this one - maximum exposure, press/TV etc, selective vunerability....

Will get you back in their shops for new year also....
