Left my glasses in a Braemar lay by - anyone near there?
Re: Left my glasses in a Braemar lay by - anyone near there?
I've secretly agreed (okay not so secret) to come up with a lego solution/ lego request for her (not Kerry) on my next trip to the land of bricks (the factory in Denmark). I'll be sure to update the thread once the returned favour has been honoured

Outstanding effort! In stitches over the glasses being in your pictures.

Thread update...
Our female heroine has now taken delivery of a LEGO Caterham model to build. I picked one up from the factory during my recent trip to Denmark. I had been looking into supporting the Scouts with an idea she had but was unable customise in the way that made sense. Additionally I felt the gift should be for her rather than the scouts, something in line with our Lotus forum heritage. Hopefully it will sit alongside her other LEGO collections such as the VW Camper and Mini etc
Lovely person to talk too and I'm thankful for Kerry connecting me to a helpful result. Top work folks
Hope I can repay the favour to someone on here one day too

At least one other person on here knows the heroine and if you ever stop in Braemar at the Bothie for a coffee, there is a good chance you will meet her. If you've never been it's a great spot for a bowl of soup and take a look out of the back patio door onto the balcony overhanging the river Dee - quite a special view.

Kerry, we usually meet up at the bothy for some refreshments before any winter trips in the Cairngorms. I will probably organise a run with a lunchstop sometime when I can fit it in.kerryxeg wrote:At least one other person on here knows the heroine and if you ever stop in Braemar at the Bothie for a coffee, there is a good chance you will meet her. No idea who the heroine is btw.
