Hmm - I can see that would be "slightly annoying" :?

Neil & Scott from StrongBroo (FF) are bith driving buddies - brand new car out for first time at the weekend (replacing his 26yr old FF) but they had 99 problems and a b1tch.... :(

Bad luck.

That looks like a lot of fun though. 64 second-ish laps, and they look like they handle well. How does power and weight compare to the standard road car?

Power is up a little with an exhaust and air filter and they all get zapped at superchips. The weight of mine was 1128 kg which was a bit overweight for a racer but a little under the road car weight at 1137. (All the seats and carpet out but the added weight of a roll cage and safety gear) I'd left the heater in as it's always cold when I've been to Knockhill. It does handle really well. I think the smaller 15" wheels help it and sticky tyres and it's 10cm off the ground.

He did but I'd thought he'd straightened himself up and I thought I'd left him plenty room. It felt like he took me off. We were going pretty fast at that point so you'd hope it wasn't deliberate. The HANS device worked well but I was seeing stars for a little bit so had to go to hospital and it turned out it was a retinal haemorrhage which apparently is a bit like whiplash but with your eye balls! It's cleared up now though and I've been given the all clear.

I think they often look worse than they are but I'm hopeful about the front suspension being ok. Front wings and bonnet lights etc are all bent the front crash bar came off completely and radiator. The nsf inner win was a bit bent and the bonnet smashed the front screen either side plus a telling dent just in front of the rear wheel on the left hand side. you can see the wing mirror come off on its own without touching anything on the video. I'd hoped just to have to give it a wash after its first race.

Looks great on track, such a shame to be shunted off like that though, you were doing really well!

Thanks for that. A&E was quite funny afterwards, it's like guess the injury in there when people come in and in my second hand race suit I looked the part as it's got lots of logos and stuff on. Stood out from the drunks and twisted ankles anyway.
The nurse assumed my job was a race car driver when she took details which I didn't correct. It sounded better than care manager anyway and then the hottest female doctor called for me and asked me to start following her finger with my eyes! It was like days of thunder. I stopped short of explaining slip streaming though as there were lots of police about and it hadn't been my best day already plus I'd been wearing the race suit for two days so I'm not sure she was sharing the whole days of thunder vibe.

Glad you're OK after Sunday. Must say it was unusual to have two STs sitting looking very sorry for themselves in Parc Ferme. The other one managed to go off at MacIntyres on the next lap and rolled heavily.

I noticed the shiny s2 and thought it must belong to someone on here. It was looking really good.

It looks like I'm losing a bit on power on the video. At the end of the straight on one lap the guy in front is about 100 yards away.

Thanks.
Need to get out with it more. Managed the LEGS Kelpie meeting, but too many runs clash with SMRC or SLS weekends.

This was in the classics earlier in day. The guy in the blue car was quite lucky. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=G0wPe-ow9TI
