Here are the details Ross:-
tut

"Its a cracking car which has given me no grief whatsover over the last 3 odd years. fast, reliable and awesome on fuel(compared to a supercharged toyota)

its a 2001 poverty spec base car so as light as S2's come. its done a mere 42k with fsh(8 stamps in the original service book). last 2 services at murrays. most recent being a couple hundred miles ago

spec in no particular order
-NA K20 honda conversion. done many years ago by blink motorsport while developing the link up kits. before i bought it it was upgarded to the latest spec linkup conversion inc full stainless exhaust.
-dyno print out showing 228bhp
-new a couple thousand miles ago. 46mm nitrons. forget the spring rates but as recommended by dave at seriosly lotus
-Aces Sure Shift programmable shift lights
-alcantara/leather probaxes with harness holes. new a few thousand miles ago. harness bar and schroth harnesses
-oreca steering wheel with removable boss and 40mm spacer
-brakes - brand new CL5+ pads on the front with larger AP rotors and alloy bells from stu. unknown alloy bells and rotors rear. nearly new cl5+ pads. braided hoses all round
-nearly new 3 pass alloy rad
-team dynamic alloys on 888's
-full rear light led conversion

other stuff
-window mechanisms rebuilt by murrays and new waist seals fitted
-new nimbus heat sheilding around exhaust
-plastic grills to the front replaced by wire mesh.
-hard top and black soft top

its due an mot in a couple weeks which ill have done. theres a small chunk out of the lower front clam. was going to cover it with a splitter. if i get a chance i'll see about getting it repaired.

im finding it difficult to price as theres so few of them and none of this spec and mileage. i think in the region of 20k would be about right. the conversion and mods alone would be at least that!"

Thanks tut, how long ago was he advertising it?

A garage down south has it at £21k which seems a touch heavy...

An S2 with factory Toyota engine might be 2-3k less? I'd be going that way.

An SC would be a very smart choice indeed.

Are you actually going to buy something this decade? Excited ! ;-)
